Shortly after Scopely released an announcement which can be found here stating that Michonne was bugged form the start. What followed was an outrage of the community which lead to damage control being activated from Scopely’s side. More threads and posts were created of which quite a few were removed, or set private, posters were actually getting banned for speaking up.
This obviously caused way more outrage and shortly after this topic had been deleted.
TWD RTS FORUM UPDATE
Statements were made by employees of Scopely that it was purely a text update all the way to we nerfed her damage output by half as she was doing to well. This post led to many claims from players, at some point even employees of Scopely stepped in to clear things up. The “bug fix”Ībout 2 days in to the sale a forum post was created by a player (I can’t remember who) about Michonne having a different text, furthermore her performance had seemingly lowered allot. And all this was based on her performance and abilities as they were. Some players even went for duplicates of this character. I know I paid for her, I know many people in my region did. Late May the 28th or 29th depending on which timezone you are in Michonne was put on promo sale again. I know for certain that on my region allot of people pulled for her since we openly discussed about it in global chat and after all that has happend Line chat also exploded. So much so, I expect that many players went for her during her second sale. She stood out for her performance and was a serious threat in war and raid battles. In the period between the first and second sale many players have met Michonne in battles during war and raids, or used her cause they already bought her during the first sale. Note how this bug was reported on the forum and fixed in a very short period of time, even though it wasn’t really affecting performance of the character itself. This bug was fixed later on (read within 5 days probably faster) and didn’t have any impact on the functioning of the character it self. Bug announcedĭuring the roadmap in early April a bug was found in regards to the new Michonne. At this time most of this was based on the roadmap experience and she was performing very good there. This character was seen as a decent to very good character at the time. The roadmap happend around the 6th of April. This was for the new Disarm Michonne (full name: Michonne “Road to Survival” #6). Anyway on to the first sale! The first saleĮarly April this year we were given a new road map to get some first hand information on a brand new character that would be the new promo on sale for the upcoming weekend. One can argue the description is still somewhat vague at best to how the AR actually works, I wonder if its still bugged because if the first hit kills the second hit will hit a different character, therefor its still “vague”.
